How to avoid being scammed

  • Avoid scams by picking up locally or paying with PayPal
  • Never pay with Western Union, Moneygram or other anonymous payment services
  • Don't buy or sell outside of your country. Don't accept cashier cheques from outside your country
  • Ask for photos of the item your thinking of buying, ask them to include a random word you select on a piece of paper, this will at least make sure they have the item.
  • Check previous listings added by the user, are there any reviews. (Please note this is not a fail safe)
  • Speak to the person on the phone, if they are not happy to do this it could be an indication they are not genuine
  • If there is something that just doesn't seem right or you have a gut feeling, walk away
  • This site is never involved in any transaction, and does not handle payments, shipping, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification
